In addition to BMOG, we’re proud to announce the launch of Combat Creatures through the Shapeways 3d printing service. What are they? 2-inch tall creatures that homage the classic Battle Beasts toyline, featuring all new dinosaur-and-modern-animal themed characters. More after the break!
At our Botcon 2014 booth we will have a limited-edition colorway of the Bear & Manta Ray pack available for purchase, We’ll have more info on these two colorful characters in the upcoming days.
While you can, of course, build him using the standard configuration, the bear has a peg-leg configuration which is the ‘official’ build for this color.
We just put in our order with the factory and they will be going into production in early May. We currently expect the product on-hand come June, at which Kickstarter backers will see their rewards start shipping out.
Due to the massive positive response to BMOG, we’re launching with two retail colorways! The first is Ursenal VS Mant-Axe in black, as previously promised. We are proud to announce the second will be the evil Paraxxoid team Bearium and Gamma-Ray in toxic spill green!
Pre-order a Toxic Spill set and, if you didn’t back us on Kickstarter or didn’t get a set in black when you did, grab a black set at the same time. The combination of the two promises to be very striking!
We have added in a stretch goal to get a second wave of figures produced for our Kickstarter. The first, Featherblight, an eagle, is Ursenal’s Paraxxoid counterpart, and he is accompanied by the Non-Dino Squad, a team of three ancient reptiles that are often mistaken for dinosaurs: Slashback the dimetrodon, Splashpoint the icthyosaur and the Multi-Function Pterattacktyl.
Mantax, the first Mini-BMOG, will be gang-molded with Ursenal and serves as his arch-rival. Mantax, a robotic manta ray, splits into a battle axe and ray blaster. He may be a ‘mini’ BMOG, but don’t let that fool you, he’s nearly 3 inches from feelers to tail-tip, making for an intimidating battle axe mode.
